Revision 1 (major thing) - 27.Nov.98

After downloading Winamp 2.05, I notice I'm a bit out of date. I have
fixed a few things that were never perfect, like the miniaturized 1-
pixel-off error, and added some more stuffs that make it more up
to date.

Malachite Amp - 9.Jul.98

Well, this is my second skin: First SpaceAmp, now Malachite. This
skin wound up being very different from what I had originally planned--
I had first thought of an "LCD Amp", a sort of spiffy looking greenish
Indiglo sorta thing. That's why the digital-sorta numbers. But I got
to playing with filters, and found that I liked this better.

I think this is several steps up from SpaceAmp (I like both, esp. the
Spectrum Analyzer of SpaceAmp), mostly because I know more about
PhotoShop and because I made this one entirely from scratch. Often,
with graphic projects, I'll use some real pictures and integrate them
into an image somehow. This is 100% digital, straight from the labs
of Damon Amyx.

To make this, I used an awful lot of the Bevel filter. Man, that sure
is a useful feature. Also, the Wave, Zigzag, Ripple, and Skew filters
were helpful in creating the main background, and Paint Shop Pro helped
with the manipulation of the little sections. There's really only one
thing I don't like about this: the dinky little play buttons. It was
intentional, since I wanted to leave as much of the "malachite" in view
as I could, but unless you're already acquainted with WinAmp it may be
a bit weird. Or something.

Lastly:

I'd appreciate any feedback you've got (good or bad) sent to:
